This Monthly bulletin is brought out by South Against Genetic
Engineering (SAGE), a coalition of civil society activists, farmers,
scientists, academicians, and consumer groups of four Southern States
of India, viz., Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
SAGE has been waging a concerted battle against genetic engineering
through a series of activities that involve public protests, media
actions, seminars, consultations and publication of a series of education
materials.
